It's not uncommon for Logic and Eminem's recent musical output to be subjected to harsh scrutiny, so much so that every release proves somewhat divisive. Despite the fact that the climate for "BARS" seems to have tempered of late, it would appear that both Logic and Em are big enough draws to still hold water. Though their joint effort "Homicide" was unable to dethrone Lil Nas X's crossover hit "Old Town Road," Logic and Em turned in a worthy effort nevertheless.

It would appear the people have spoken. Billboard reports that "Homicide," the second track off Bobby's Confessions Of A Dangerous Mind, has officially cracked the Hot 100's Top 5, sitting pretty in the fifth spot. In streaming numbers, "Homicide" was actually in second place with 36.3 million, while digital song sales of 42,000 were enough to lock down third place.
The accomplishment marks Logic's second Top 10 track, following 2017's "1-800-273-8255." As for Em, "Homicide" marks his twenty-first top ten placement, tying Jay-Z's in third place for "most Top 10 hits among rappers." The only two standing ahead are Lil Wayne and Drake, in second and first place respectively. Congratulations to Eminem and Logic, who have once again proven that the people can be swayed, provided the bars are sturdy enough.
