Le'Veon Bell had a very public breakup with the Pittsburgh Steelers that ended with the Steelers forgoing the franchise tag process and letting Bell walk away. Bell ended up signing a deal with the New York Jets and he seems to be pretty happy about his decision. Immediately after signing his deal, Bell did an interview where he explained how he had no regrets and ended up with a "beautiful" contract.
"I don't regret anything that had happened," Bell said according to ESPN. "Everything's happened for a reason. Who can say that if I played last year, you know, if I do go out and play last year on a one-year franchise tag, if I do get hurt, do I end up sitting in this position today, being with the New York Jets on a beautiful deal?"
While performing at the HQ2 Nightclub at Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City over the weekend, Bell showed off his Jets pride by displaying a Jets logo on the screen behind him. There were "JETS" chants going on as Bell performed songs from his recent mixtape, "Life's A Gamble."
The footage above was obtained by TMZ and it seems as though both the fans and Bell himself are very excited about his upcoming season.
