After holding out with the Pittsburgh Steelers during the entire 2018 season, there was no denying that Le'Veon Bell would be the most sought after free agent. Over the past couple of weeks, there has been a ton of speculation as to where the running back would land. Thanks to a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter, it has been confirmed that Bell has signed with the New York Jets to a four-year deal with $52.5 million, with $35 million being guaranteed.
Bell, who likes to rap in his spare time, released an album last night and followed up the drop with the news that he was going to the big apple.
At 27 years old, Bell is one of the best running backs in the league. In 2017, he picked up almost 2,000 total yards thanks to his abilities as a dual threat out on the field. Bell is known for not just being an effective running back but a solid receiver as well. His presence was sorely missed by the Steelers this past year as they ended up finishing with a record of 9-6-1 and ultimately missed the playoffs.
It's been a rough offseason for the Steelers as they've lost out on Bell and star wide receiver Antonio Brown who was recently traded to the Oakland Raiders.
