Vladimir Putin is the notorious President of Russia who has been known to not only be a tough leader but an even tougher hockey player. Russia is one of the best countries in the world when it comes to the greatest sport on ice and Putin is an example of this or at least that's what the country really wants you to believe. Whenever Putin straps up the skates and gets on the ice, the world stops as the Russian President dangles around his opponents with ease, almost as if they aren't even trying out of fear of being reprimanded.
The latest example of this happened today when Putin got together with some of the most prominent people in the country, including ex-NHL players like Slava Fetisov and Pavel Bure, to play a big game of hockey. In the end, Putin's team won the match 14-7 which is a pretty ridiculous score considering we're talking about hockey and not football here.
Putin finished the game with eight goals which means even if his teammates hadn't scored any goals, his team still would have won. The highlights show some of Putin's goals including one where the goalie clearly raises his pad to let the shot go in despite being in a perfect position to stop it.
Needless to say, if the kids I played against in minor hockey were this bad, I'd be playing for the Montreal Canadiens right now.
