Conor McGregor Says He Attended World Cup Final As Vladimir Putin's Special Guest

Conor McGregor is as credible as they come right? His latest proclamation has him claiming he was the personally invited guest of Russian leader Vladimir Putin for this afternoon's World Cup Final. He followed up his announcement by labelling Putin as one of the greatest leaders of our time, and the invitation a great honor.

As you can see, McGregor mirrored his post on all social platforms, including a second photo on IG where he appears to be giving Putin and his confidantes the sweet lowdown. Regrettably, Conor McGregor's home nation of Ireland fell two points shy of group leaders Serbia during World Cup Qualifying, and then failed against Denmark by a 5-1 aggregate score.

The full caption read: 

"Today I was invited to the World Cup final as a guest of Russian President Vladimir Putin. This man is one of the greatest leaders of our time and I was honored to attend such a landmark event alongside him. Today was an honor for me Mr. Putin. Thank you and congratulations on an amazing World Cup."

Interestingly enough news broke this weekend that Conor McGregor and his partner were expecting their second child.
