The 2019 Met Gala is soon approaching and this year's theme will be "Camp: Notes On Fashion." Editor-in-chief of Vogue, Anna Wintour, discussed the anticipated show that will take place on the first week of May and while she hasn't "decided yet" on her outfit, she has decided on the guest list. "I have options,” she explained. “I’m really hoping that someone will arrive in hiking boots and a backpack.”
As for the who will be attending, we can expect an impressive variety of A-list music makers, models and actors but if there's one person who's simply not welcome it's President Donald Trump. When asked if there's anything Donald could do to land an invite, Anna replied: “Absolutely nothing.”
Elsewhere in the clip, as seen below, Anna touched on the passing of her dear friend, Karl Lagerfeld. . “There was no one like Karl,” she explained. “He was just a completely exceptional person. He was a linguist, he was a historian, he was a designer, decorator, philanthropist, humanitarian.”
She added: “He was witty, he was wicked, he was the best kind of friend to have. He was incredibly generous and kind. He was this larger than life figure that I think we all need to inspire the world. It was very poignant for me when we lost him.”
