If the rapper stays out of trouble, all charges will be removed from the record.

Jim Jones has one less problem on his hands now that's being reported that the rapper accepted a plea deal in the drug case stemming from an incident last year. In June 2018, reports state that Jones was arrested in Georgia after officers discovered drugs and firearms in a vehicle he was in. Jones was a passenger in the car with three other men, and at the time cops claimed that when they attempted to pull the vehicle over, a chase ensued.

When the vehicle finally pulled over, police reportedly found marijuana, oxycodone, Percocet, vape cartridges, and two loaded guns. None of the men admitted to being responsible for the drugs or the firearms, so everyone was arrested. Jones was later charged with three counts of a possession of a controlled substance, two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and possession of marijuana. If convicted, Jones was reportedly facing decades in prison.

TMZ has obtained documents that show the terms of Jones' plea which state that he was sentenced to two years probation and a $1,500 fine, plus minor court fees. The publication reports that three of Jones' six charges were dropped and the remaining three charges will be wiped clean if the rapper can stay out of trouble during his probationary period. The conditions are that Jones cannot drink or do drugs, or be caught with either, while on probation. He'll also have to report to a probation officer in Georgia.
