The Blue Devils suffered two losses last night.

Zion Williamson was the big draw last night when the Duke Blue Devils took on the North Carolina Tar Heels. It was supposed to be a phenomenal spectacle, but it quickly deterred into a disappointment as Williamson broke through his shoe and injured his knee. He immediately came out of the game and the Blue Devils went on to lose to their rivals by a score of 88-72. The blowout was probably due to Zion's absence and it was clear that the team was missing him.

"It put everyone in the position of having to figure it out, playing without him, while playing a really good team. It's not a good situation," Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski said according to ESPN. "At halftime the realization that he's not there settled in. And we played horrible to start the second half. The final 16 minutes I thought we played really well, but it was too late."

His head coach also called the injury a "mild knee sprain" and there is no time table for his return. Nike commented on the situation as Williamson was wearing a pair of Paul George 2.5's.

"We are obviously concerned and want to wish Zion a speedy recovery," Nike explained. "The quality and performance of our products are of utmost importance. While this is an isolated occurrence, we are working to identify the issue."

With the loss, Duke will most likely be demoted from their first place ranking heading into next week.
