Sandra Bullock has just rounded up the hype of her Netflix film Bird Box that was reported to have been streamed in more than 80 million households. The actress and the streaming service clearly have a good working relationship since she's signed on to produce an upcoming science fiction film titled Reborn.
According to Variety, the film is helming from a comic book that will be directed by Chris McKay (The Lego Movie) and centers around "an elderly woman who dies in a Manhattan hospital only to find herself reborn in the afterlife world of Adystria, where good and evil are waging an eternal war amid dragons. She then sets off on a quest to find her late husband."
The casting for the film is still underway and overall the movie is yet another interesting project the streaming service has on the docket of their anticipated original content. As we previously posted, Netflix upped its subscription prices with Basic Plans going to $9 from $8, HD Standard plan going to $13 from $11 and its 4K premium plan going to $16 from $14.
The rise in prices is the biggest spike the company has made in the 12 years Netflix has been going.
