Dillashaw offered an apology for his recent scandal.

TJ Dillashaw was forced to relinquish his bantamweight UFC title back in March after it was revealed that he had failed a drug test. In relation to his failed drug test, it was reported earlier this week that he was suspended for two years by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA). This means the next time Dillashaw will be able to fight is in 2021. In the meantime, he'll have a lot of time to reflect on what he did.

Today though, Dillashaw took a step in the right direction by posting a series of videos on Instagram where he spoke candidly about his positive drug test. The fighter admitted to everything and apologized profusely for letting the fans and the sport down.

"I'm having a hard time trying to forgive myself for this," Dillashaw said. "Which I SHOULD have a hard time. But I got to man up to what I did."

Dillashaw also explained that he plans to work his way back into the Octagon and prove to his young son that he can persevere after making a bad mistake.

"This is who I am. I'm a fighter ... and I'm gonna have to fight my way through this one," Dillashaw promised. "This won't be the end of me. I'll be back."

The fighter has had surgery on his right shoulder and will be receiving a second surgery on his left. Needless to say, Dillashaw has a lot of physical rehab to do before 2021.
