The Lakers will finally get some pieces back.

It is well documented that the Los Angeles Lakers have been battling a plethora of injuries as of late. Lonzo Ball just went down with an ankle sprain, while LeBron James and Rajon Rondo both went down with injuries on Christmas Day in a match against the Golden State Warriors. LeBron has been nursing a groin injury while Rondo has had a torn ligament in his finger.

The Lakers finally have some good news though, as Rondo should be back in the lineup on Thursday, according to head coach Luke Walton.

"I think Rondo will play Thursday as long as he continues to move with no setbacks until then, but that will be something that we'll keep pushing him and we'll re-evaluate each morning," Walton told ESPN.

He continued by commenting on LeBron's status as he continues to rehab his groin injury.

"I haven't seen him do contact yet, so I don't feel as confident," Walton explained. "But I know you know how serious he is about his rehab. So he's doing everything possible and we've talked. I know he's dying to get back on the basketball court, but he also knows that getting healthy is the top priority."

The Lakers are ninth in the Western Conference with a record of 25-23 and will take on the Minnesota Timberwolves Thursday night in L.A.
