Yelawolf has been making headlines of late, having gone Deliverance on hip-hop's damn-near-entire white population. The incendiary "Bloody Sunday" even had Post Malone taking to Twitter to clap back, though a diss track doesn't appear likely. Clearly, the Trunk Muzik 3 rollout has been a successful one, and we haven't even received the album's first official single. That is about to change, however, as Catfish Billy has officially unveiled the release date of his upcoming single "TM3."
A title track of sorts, "TM3" is set to feature Klever, with production from frequent collaborator WLPWR ("Pop The Trunk," "Till It's Gone"). The track itself finds Yela sneering bars over some distorted 808s, threatening to smash your daddy in the face with a piss-filled bottle. It certainly sounds promising, a welcome deviation from frequent production trends, while still appealing to the contemporary lust for bangers.
Look for "TM3" to drop this Friday, marking the first official single from Yelawolf's Shady Records Swan Song. Given his recent track record, it seems likely that Yela is taking it back to his rap roots on this one, and you'll likely find little in the way of complaints as a result.
