The Detroit Pistons can punch their ticket to the NBA Playoffs with a win against the New York Knicks on Wednesday night. That shouldn't be a difficult task, considering the Knicks are the worst team in the league, but the way Detroit struggled against the lowly Memphis Grizzlies last night proves that they're certainly no lock for the eighth seed.

The Pistons trailed the Grizz by as many as 22 points Tuesday night, but rallied back behind a 20-point, 17-rebound game from Andre Drummond, and a season-high 22 points from Ish Smith, to secure a 100-93 victory.

After the crucial win, Drummond posted the following on twitter:

Drummond's tweet was met with some criticism, including a fan who wrote, "No one, and I mean no one in this city is entertained."

"yo, you beat an already trash team missing about 8 players. Your gonna make the playoffs by the skin of your teeth. The basketball you all have been playing the last month has been impossible to watch. No one, and I mean no one in this city is entertained."

The Pistons' 25-year old center responded:

"No team is trash in the NBA sir, you couldn’t walk a day in one of our shoes from the best teams to the teams rebuilding. We work our ass off every single night. may not be to your liking because you don’t know what it’s like being out there. But don’t discredit my team or any team"

Detroit can actually sneak into the playoffs even if they loss to the Knicks in the regular season finale - as long as the Charlotte Hornets also lose to the Orlando Magic. If the Pistons lose and the Hornets pick up a W, no one, and I mean no one, in the city of Detroit will be entertained.
