NBA hands out suspensions for Ibaka and Chriss.

The Toronto Raptors' Serge Ibaka and Cleveland Cavaliers' Marquese Chriss have both been suspended as a result of the fight that took place during the third quarter of Cleveland's 126-101 victory Monday night.

Both players were ejected for the scuffle, but today the NBA announced a three-game suspension for Ibaka and a one-game suspension for Chriss.

The three-game ban will cost Ibaka approximately $448,000 in salary, while Chriss will miss out on $22,000 as a result of the one-game suspension. Neither player was available for comment after game.

The Raptors are still sitting in second place in the Eastern Conference with a record of 48-20, which is just 2.5 games back of the Milwaukee Bucks and eight games up on the third seed Philadelphia 76ers. Their next three games are home against the Lakers, at Detroit and home against the Knicks.

The Cavs, meanwhile, are still among the bottom three teams in the NBA despite the rare victory on Monday. With 15 games remaining, Cleveland's 17-50 record is four games better than the last place New York Knicks. The three worst teams all have a 14% chance of landing the coveted #1 overall pick in the NBA Draft.
