Gunna shoulda, coulda, woulda but didn't.

Camila Cabello's Young Thug featured track "Havana" hit 7x Multi-Platinum this month and was nominated for Best Pop Solo Performance at this year's Grammy Awards. Those milestones alone probably has anyone who was offered a spot on the song kicking themselves (or their manager) and that person would be none other than Gunna

According to DJ Boothbefore Young Thug jumped on the song it was offered to Gunna but his manager gave it a red light because he didn't know who Camila was. Gunna had told Audiomack's Marketing Director, Joe Vango:

"Gunna came to Audiomack back in March to play us new music. We were talking about an unreleased song with him and [Young] Thug. That was their second song they recorded, and [we talked about] their relationship. Next thing you know, he says that [he missed out on "Havana"] and his manager was like 'Bruh.' He kept calling her 'Camilly.'"

The joke is that even Young Thug was questioning dropping a verse on the track himself. "I was like what the f*ck? What is this? I don't want to switch that fast. I wanna take my time," he said when describing his thoughts on collaborating.

Looks like it was clearly the right move because Young's going to be cashing in on royalties for a while.
