WWE superstars John Cena and Daniel Bryan are out of Friday's Crown Jewel PPV in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, but Hulk Hogan is in.
According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, WWE has confirmed that The Hulkster will serve as the host for Crown Jewel, marking his first appearance on WWE TV since the Summer of 2015. Hogan had been reinstated into the WWE Hall of Fame back in July, following a three-year ban from the company.
The special event will air this Friday at 11am ET on the WWE Network.
Hogan won't be the only WWE legend taking part in the Saudi Arabia PPV, as The Undertaker and Kane aka The Brothers of Destruction, are set for a tag-team match against DX's Triple H and Shawn Michaels.
Crown Jewel will also feature a World Cup Tournament, which will feature four wrestlers from Raw and four from SmackDown Live. On the Raw side of the bracket, Bobby Lashley (John Cena's replacement) will face Intercontinental champion Seth Rollins, with the winner taking on either Kurt Angle or Dolph Ziggler. SmackDown Live is represented by Jeff Hardy vs The Miz and Rey Mysterio vs Randy Orton.
Other matches on the card include Brock Lesnar vs Braun Strowman for the vacant Universal Title, AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe for the WWE Championship and The New Day vs The Bar for the SmackDown Live Tag Team Championship.
