ESPN has been teasing a Michael Jordan documentary for a minute now and on Monday, they announced that the doc titled The Last Dance, will be released in 2020 instead of 2019. It's not all bad news though, the sports network dropped a trailer to the 10-part documentary on Twitter and it looks amazing so far.
The Last Dance takes a detailed look at Jordan and his meteoric rise to fame throughout the 90s when he was playing for the Chicago Bulls. During his time with the Bulls, Jordan won six NBA championships, played at the Olympics, won countless MVP trophy's and even retired after his first three titles to go play baseball.
This new documentary will feature clips from over 500 hours of unseen footage, making this new doc a Jordan fan's dream. Included in this new doc are interviews with his teammates, including Steve Curr, Dennis Rodman, and Scottie Pippen. In the trailer, we even see Pippen exclaim "We were the greatest team ever, it was [Jordan's] team."
According to Complex, the documentary will make its debut on Netflix but we're going to have to wait a while for it.
