ESPN has several highly anticipated 30-for-30 films on deck for 2019, including one titled "Deion's Double Play" which is slated to premiere on January 31 at 9pm ET.

The film will chronicle an eventful 24 hours in October of 1992, when Deion Sanders played a professional football game between a pair of postseason baseball games in two different cities, located 1,000 miles apart.

In addition to the Deion Sanders 30-for-30, ESPN also teased the release of a number of other films during Monday night's National Championship Game. This includes films about controversial superstars such as Michael Vick, Dennis Rodman and Lance Armstrong, as well as Olympic runner Flo Jo, and longtime UFC foes Chuck Liddell & Tito Ortiz.

On top of that, ESPN Films and Netflix are partnering up for a 10-part docu-series that will chronicle the rise of NBA legend Michael Jordan as well as the 1990s Chicago Bulls. The series, titled "The Last Dance," is set to premiere later this year and, according to Richard Deitsch of The Athletic, MJ has approved the project and will take part in it.

"Directed by Jason Hehir (“The Fab Five,” “The ’85 Bears,” “Andre the Giant”) and produced by Mike Tollin, the anthology will examine the simultaneous rise of Jordan and the NBA during those years."

"Anchored by more than 500 hours of never-before-seen footage from the team’s last championship run in the 1997-98 season, “The Last Dance” will have the full participation of Jordan and other key figures from the Bulls’ championship teams, as well as dozens of other luminaries from basketball and beyond."
