Durant's injury isn't considered serious right now.

With just under seven minutes to go in the Golden State Warriors' match against the Phoenix Suns, Kevin Durant went to jump for the ball and end up landing on the foot of Suns player Deandre Ayton. Durant ended up laying on the ground for quite some time and then walked off on his own. He never returned to the game and the Warriors eventually lost the game 115-111. Considering the Suns are one of the worst teams in the league, it was a surprising loss, however much of the attention after the game was in relation to Durant's injury, which was labeled as an ankle contusion, according to ESPN.

"I think he's going to be all right," Warriors head coach Steve Kerr explained after the game. "He had an ankle contusion, but I don't think it's bad. I talked to him briefly, he didn't seem to think it was too bad."

As of right now, there is no official update on Durant's condition and whether or not he will be in the lineup on Wednesday night when the team takes on the Houston Rockets. With only 16 games left, the Warriors will want their superstar player ready for the postseason.

The Warriors are currently first in the Western Conference with a record of 45-21.
