The WWE recently finalized their 2019 Hall of Fame class with the addition of Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake, who will join the likes of D-Generation X, Torrie Wilson, Harlem Heat, The Hart Foundation and The Honky Tonk Man in the class of '19.
Another wrinkle to the annual Hall of Fame ceremony is the reveal of who will be introducing each wrestler. When it comes to Beefcake, it'll be none other than Hulk Hogan.
According to WWE:
"Hogan and Beefcake first joined forces in 1989, headlining that year’s SummerSlam against “Macho King” Randy Savage and the monstrous Zeus and later stepping into a Steel Cage to battle the ruthless duo. When Beefcake returned to the ring after a parasailing accident that nearly ended his life, Hogan was literally in “The Barber’s” corner, joining forces with him to form The Mega Maniacs, a duo that battled then-World Tag Team Champions Money Inc. at WrestleMania IX."
Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake first joined WWE in 1984 and became a singles start a few years later. He earned his nickname and popularity at the legendary Wrestlemania 3, when he emerged to shave the head of "Adorable" Adrian Adonis, following his defeat at the hands of Rowdy Roddy Piper.
The 2019 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony will air on the WWE Network starting at 7pm ET this Saturday, April 6. Check out some predictions for Wrestlemania 35 here.
