Peter Parker is set to be the Obi-Wan to Miles Morales' Luke Skywalker. In the upcoming Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse animated film, Morales will take center stage, although there will be a cast of other Spider-Men (and woman) helping him to save the world. From watching the trailer, the plot of the film appears to be based around some kind of event that pushes different universes together, bringing Spider-Men from alternate realities together. The event threatens to crumble all of reality, and it's up to Morales, Parker, Spider-Gwen, and others to save their separate universes from being destroyed.

Sony and Marvel have just dropped a new teaser for the film, gracing fans with a full clip from the film. In the clip, Morales is dressed in an ill-fitting Spider-Man costume as he and Parker try to escape the lair of an enemy. Once they are spotted, the villains take out laser guns to chase the heroes. As with many fantasy flicks, the villains have horrible aim, and Morales and Parker flee easily... almost. Morales gets a quick lesson on how to utilize the web shooters, which highlights the comedic aspects of Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse. Before the clip ends, Spider-Gwen makes an appearance. Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse drops on December 14.
