Houston Astros outfielder George Springer has reportedly been "disciplined" by the team following his outburst directed at home plater umpire Angel Hernandez back on April 23. Springer was punched on a called third strike that was clearly below the strike zone, and cameras caught him calling Hernandez a "fucking cock sucker" from the dugout.
MLB released the following statement in regards to Springer's actions:
“This inappropriate behavior was addressed with Mr. Springer and the Houston Astros ... and he has been disciplined.”
It's unclear exactly what the punishment was, but Springer has not been suspended.

Hernandez, who filed a federal racial discrimination lawsuit against the league two years ago, ranks as one of the least liked umps in all of baseball. Astros manager A.J. Hinch has referred to Hernandez as "unprofessional" and "arrogant" in the past, and it seems as though several other managers and players, including Springer, feel the same.
