Travis Scott reached his peak in mainstream success last year with the release of the chart-topping Astroworld album. Among his fanbase, the project was a work-in-progress for years, prior to the release of Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight. It met the commercial and critical expectation set by his fanbase which allowed him to tour the project twice in North American within a matter of months. With the summer coming up, Travis Scott announced that he'll be hitting the road for a special festival run.
With festival season upon us, Travis Scott's slated to run through several cities this summer for the Astroworld festival run. The rapper announced seven festival dates this summer which include two days at JMBLYA this weekend, an appearance at Rolling Loud Miami, Hangout Festival in Gulf Shores, Boston Calling, Dover's Firefly Festival, and Jay-Z's annual Made In America which takes place in Philadelphia each year.
Although it's a few dates, there's a good chance that he'll announce a few more dates but overall, it looks like Travis is set to have a pretty laid back summer for the most part.
Aside from his tour, the rapper recently celebrated his 28th birthday with an elaborate party that Kylie organized that included a cake that was inspired by his Air Jordan 1 collaboration.
