McGregor and Khabib have been going back and forth on social media.

For the past year now, Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor have been embroiled in a beef that will stand the test of time as far as UFC feuds go. The two absolutely hate each other and back in October, Khabib was able to exact revenge on Conor for speaking ill of his religion, by destroying him in the Octagon. This week, McGregor reignited the beef when he said Khabib's wife was a "towel" in a tweet that has since been deleted. This prompted Khabib to call Conor a rapist and forced Dana White to issue a statement denouncing the feud.

TMZ Sports caught up with fellow UFC fighter Kelvin Gastelum who said both fighters need to calm down because the beef is reaching a point of no return.

"I think there are some lines that have been crossed, and it's escalating to a point where it shouldn't have to. I feel like if it keeps going the way it's going, somebody's gonna end up injured, somebody's gonna end up hurt, somebody's gonna end up shot," Gastelum said. "Khabib don't play no games, man. This is real life for him."

Gastelum is currently in L.A for his UFC 236 fight against Israel Adesanya. Meanwhile, McGregor won't be anywhere in sight considering he's retired from the sport.
