Last night's game got a little chippy.

At the end of the Game 2 between the Denver Nuggets and the Portland Trail Blazers last night, both benches cleared after Enes Kanter of the Blazers checked Torrey Craig of the Nuggets. Craig has already suffered a broken nose in the game and was wearing a face mask. Due to his condition, the Nuggets took exception to Kanter's actions, and a bench brawl ensued. Kanter was assessed a double tech and was ejected from the final 45 seconds.

According to CBS Sports, the brawl ended up making its way to the stands as at least three fans were ejected for starting the fights in the crowd. In addition to some light fighting, fans were throwing objects onto the court in frustration at what they had just witnessed. Of course, the Nuggets were the home team last night and ended up losing by a score of 97-90 which allowed the Blazers to tie the series at one game apiece.

Considering its only game 2 and these teams are divisional rivals, it can be said that this series could get even chippier as it goes on. The series is heading back to Portland for Game 3 which will go down on Friday.

Perhaps the players will have calmed down by then.
