This past week has been a stressful one for Tekashi 6ix9ine. The rapper had numerous court appearances lined up including the sentencing for his child sex case. Although the prosecutors were close to having 6ix9ine locked up, the judge opted to give the Brooklyn rapper four years of probation along with 1000 hours of community service. While 6ix9ine and his crew were out celebrating the good news, a shooting occurred at the restaurant they were eating at and unfortunately, his bodyguard got hit.
A shooting occurred during Tekashi 6ix9ine's post-sentencing celebration at a New York City restaurant which resulted in his bodyguard being struck by a bullet, TMZ reports. Tekashi 6ix9ine was heading to a meeting with an executive at his label, 10k Projects Records. The executive's bodyguard reportedly turned away everyone in 6ix9ine's crew except for the rapper which prompted an argument between the two security guards. While the two men were arguing, a third party came up and fired four shots, one of which hit 6ix9ine's bodyguard in the stomach. The bodyguard was taken to the hospital afterward.
The shooting comes hours after the judge told Tekashi 6ix9ine to keep out of trouble if he doesn't want to risk going to jail, as part of his probation sentence. However, Tekashi 6ix9ine wasn't actually involved with the altercation that occurred.
