Supreme has teamed up with legendary designer Jean Paul Gaultier for their latest collaborative collection.
Gaultier recently spoke with Vogue about the upcoming line of Supreme gear.
"I have been including elements of sportswear in my collections from the very beginning. It has been one of my codes and my obsessions, I even developed a line ‘Junior Gaultier’ at the end of the 1980s [with that focus]. With Supreme, this inspiration will find its way to a new generation."
According to Vogue, the apparel and accessories in the collection are actually inspired by the costumes Gaultier made for Madonna's Blond Ambition Tour in 1990. Bringing everything full circle, Madonna's daughter, Lourdes Leon, has signed on to model the upcoming collab.
The Supreme x John Paul Gaultier collection will reportedly be available via Supreme's online shop, as well as their brick and mortar locations in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, London and Paris starting next Thursday, April 11.
