Looks like the Eagles have made up their mind.

Ever since the Philadelphia Eagles lost their NFC Divisional round matchup against the New Orleans Saints, 20-14, the Eagles have had to make some decisions concerning their quarterback situation. The team has been playing with two starting quarterbacks for the last two seasons. While Carson Wentz has technically been the number one guy, injuries have allowed Nick Foles to shine and even win a Super Bowl last season. Despite Foles' solid play, Eagles head coach Doug Pederson is saying that Wentz will remain as the starter once he's healthy.

"Carson is the quarterback going forward," Pederson said at the team's end of year press conference on Tuesday. "In Nick's case, we would love to have everybody back throughout the roster. As I've said many many times, it's not about one guy. It's about the team. And we're going to do what's best for the team."

Wentz, who has been struggling with back issues this season, says he will be fine next season and that the lingering injury shouldn't be a problem anymore.

“I know I’ll be fine,” Wentz said Monday, via KYW Newsradio. “I know once I get healed and I do this the right way long term this should be fine and not come back. That’s the positive.”

This announcement could lead to Foles leaving the team during the free agency period.
