Yesterday, Rae Sremmurd announced they had made a big move, signing a new deal with Belaire for $20 million. Of course, the duo had to celebrate with some champagne as Swae Lee popped a bottle in a new video uploaded to Instagram. The artist had his pet monkey sitting on his shoulder as he announced the deal, telling the world that he and Slim Jxmmi just got a little bit richer. He freestyled a little bit of wisdom too, saying that "if you are believing then you are achieving." He poured out some of the champagne before pulling out his best Michael Jackson dance moves, hitting the signature spin and grabbing his crotch with the bottle still in hand.
The new deal was announced in a feature with Hypebeast as the group becomes the latest musical act to represent Luc Belaire. Many of the rap world's biggest names have endorsement deals with the luxury champagne maker with Swae and Jxmmi signing a lucrative deal to join the family.
As a duo, Rae Sremmurd has experienced a lot of success in the last few years. Swae Lee has announced that he will be releasing a solo EP soon but we now also know when Sremmlife 4 will be out. The new album can be expected early next year. For now, we'll be patient and brace for plenty of champagne flexes in the coming months.
