This year was huge for new albums as it seems like nearly everybody came through with a full-length project. We're still waiting on a few key works to close the year out strongly but we've been lucky enough to receive some highly-anticipated projects and some surprising breakthroughs from new artists. It's only been a few months since Rae Sremmurd released their massive triple album SR3MM but they're already looking forward to the next group project. Swae Lee recently announced that he is working on a solo EP, which is still without a release date, but he's teaming up with Slim Jxmmi to make some more Sremm bangers, announcing that we can expect the fourth instalment in their Sremmlife series at the beginning of 2019.
Swae seems excited about the new album, adding that they're going for more of the same. We've gotten countless club hits from the group and they're aiming for similar success. Swae told Hypebeast, "SremmLife 4, we’re sticking to the script of what we do on SremmLife; making club bangers, making timeless classics and just bringing the vibe. Me and Slim Jxmmi are coming together for another classic album, our fourth album. SremmLife 4 will come early next year."
With Swaecation, Jxmtro and the group effort this year, Rae Sremmurd have been all over the place in 2018 and they're looking forward to continuing the trend come next year. Are you excited for Sremmlife 4?
