2 Chainz proves his worth as an upper echelon presence.

On Friday, the wizened 2 Chainz dropped off his fifth studio album Rap Or Go To The League. The project, which features appearances from Travis Scott, Young Thug, Lil Wayne, E40, Ariana Grande, and more, garnered early acclaim from the fans, with many dubbing it Tity's most mature project to date. Now, the first-week sales projections have come in, and while 2 Chainz fared admirably, dethroning the almighty Ariana Grande's Thank U, Next is no easy feat. Though it did not secure the number one spot, ROGTTL is still looking to move between 65,000 and 70,000 album equivalent units, an impressive number to be sure.

Lil Skies also turned in some impressive work, with his recent Shelby project moving between 45,000 to 50,000 album equivalent units. The album, which features appearances from Gucci Mane, Gunna, and more, proves that Skies remains a force in the game, albiet one who has yet to realize his full commercial potential.

Solange fared equally well, with her own When I Get Home project pushing between 40,000 to 45,000 album equivalent units. Her project boasted an impressive repertoire of guests, including Devin The Dude, Metro Boomin, Pharrell, Earl Sweatshirt, and more. Of the three projects, which one has your favorite? Sound off below.
