Drake has had a very successful year between his platinum-selling Nothing Was The Same, the well-attended "Would You Like A Tour?," and his recent Nike deal. It only seems fit that the rapper now give back some of what he's earned, and he's doing just that-- announcing that he will build a recording studio for the Strawberry Mansion High School in Philadelphia.
Drizzy visited the Strawberry Mansion after being inspired by a new story which highlighted the turnaround the school has made from once being considered one of America's most dangerous. He made the announcement to a very excited crowd of teenagers.
“In the next few months, I’m building a recording studio inside your school,” said Drizzy. “This is about you, this is about your principal, this is about your future. I love you, I care about you, and I want to see you succeed.”
That wasn't the only good news the rapper had to share, also informing the kids that they would all receive tickets and transportation to attend his show at Wells Fargo Center.
