Drake made a hefty donation to Strawberry Mansion High School in Philadelphia.

Drake's recent project If You're Reading This It's Too Late found him at his most egotistical, whether it be bragging about his wealth, dismissing other rappers who aren't up to par with him, and being obsessed with his own crew, his own city. Among his braggadocious rhymes, Drizzy boasted of having two mortgages ($30 million in total) and making significant purchases for the many women in his life.

With a platinum "mixtape" now secured, it's safe to say Drake isn't hurting for pocket change. The rapper put some of that pocket change to good use, when he donated $75,000 to Strawberry Mansion High School in Philadelphia. The money helped create a new recording studio for the school, which is located in one of the poorest and most dangerous parts of the city.

The studio was actually completed last summer, but they've only now found someone to be their music instructor. The principal, Linda Cliatt-Wayman, said, "We thought we were going to be ready to go in September. They've been dying to get in."

Billboard reports that Drake was first moved to make a donation after he saw an ABC News segment about Wayman's efforts to improve the school. When he visited the city during a tour in October 2013, he invited a few individuals from the school community to a private pre-show event, where he announced the donation. "This is about you. This is about your principal. This is about your future," Drake told them. "I love you. I care about you. I want to see you succeed."

Drake hasn't spoken publicly about the donation.
