What can we expect from Joaquin Phoenix?

Todd Phillips' Joker movie received a ridiculous amount of attention when it began filming in New Jersey this past Fall. Almost everything that Joker star Joaquin Phoenix did was recorded by passers-by, and even scenes with love interest Zazie Beetz made it online. Fans are excited to see the finished product, with hopes that Phoenix will be a better Joker than Jared Leto. Although the release of the film is about a year away, fans are still counting down the days until Joker touches down.

According to ScreenRantproduction for the Joker movie has officially wrapped. The confirmation was initially posted online by Phillips, who took to Instagram to announce the completion of filming. "That’s a wrap on production," he wrote on a picture of himself under faded print that reads, "No unsupervised patients allowed." That's a big plot hint. "Thanks to the greatest crew NYC has to offer. It was a fun shoot— but we’re not there yet," he concluded. Reshoots have plagued DC films in the past, but maybe Phillips will break the DC curse. Aquaman and Wonder Woman may have delivered for Warner Bros. and DC, but a truly impeccable film worthy of Avengers level praise has been missing from their catalog.
