While Lil Uzi Vert's early retirement has left many fans irritated, his longevity is proving more concrete than expected. Though our last Uzi solo album, Luv Is Rage 2, dropped back in August 2017, it would appear that the project is still going strong. Producer Don Cannon, who worked heavily as a co-writer and producer on many Luv Is Rage 2 tracks, took to Instagram to share an impressive sales milestone. As of today, Lil Uzi's most recent project has surpassed two billion streams on Spotify.
Of course, it's unclear how many of those streams derive from the massive superhit "XO Tour Life." In September 2017, the single had already amassed 1.3 billion streams on all streaming services, of which Spotify stands as the most popular. Either way, it's clear that Uzi remains a new-school favorite, and hopefully his fans can keep the same loyal energy upon the release of his eventual follow-up effort.
