MF DOOM joins Open Mike Eagles in describing the pressures of living inside a Police State.

DOOM fans are over their head with excitement. It's not every week that two of his songs show up on shelves. Earlier in the week, Your Old Droog dropped "RST" featuring verses from Mach-Hommy and DOOM. Ironically, the songs "no hook" structure doesn't help in furthering the agenda of "resolving sexual tension" in America. See what they did there.

DOOM would then pick up his sardonic tone a second time on Open Mike Eagle's equally political "Police Myself," complete with an elaborate music video, he of course, didn't bother showing up to record. That's DOOM for you, always in character, even when he's not acting.

If you ever wanted to hear DOOM "pause" himself mid-verse, this is your chance, as he uses the image of an overzealous lover to describe a police officer tensing up in the line of duty. Open Mike Eagle is no slouch either, albeit with a slightly less tangential style. Open Mike paints himself in the role of an innocent individual who might get clapped while reaching for his cell phone. "This is America," as we know it.

Quotable Lyrics:

They're nervous like the first time in a threesome
And shoot too early like pre-cum
Yeah pause.. seem dumb
Sell 'em to hell no refund.

- DOOM
