Devin Booker knew what he had to do following the Suns' 128-110 victory against the New York Knicks on Monday Night: Log-in to twitter and troll Knicks center Enes Kanter.
Last January, Kanter had posted a photo of Booker holding up a giant L after the Knicks defeated the Suns in a game where Booker was ejected for shoving Kanter. Kanter captioned his tweet, “Hold that ‘L’ kid. Talk to me nice or don’t talk to me at all…”
Booker, who scored a game-high 38 points in last night's win, referenced that 11-month old tweet along with his own message: "Pick n Roll at 00 every time.”
Last night's victory marked the Suns' third straight W, something they haven't accomplished since March of 2017, according to ESPN. No. 1 overall pick DeAndre Ayton had 21 points and 13 rebounds in the win, and Jamal Crawford notched a career-high 14 assists.
The Knicks, meanwhile, fell to 4-10 at home and 9-23 overall with the loss.
