As he's done for many other up-and-coming artists, Drake remixes Summer Walker's "Girls Need Love" and bolsters its popularity.

It's been a long time since Drake hopped on an up-and-coming artist's song for a remix— his March 2016 version of Ramriddlz's "Sweeterman" was the last, not counting more recent entries like N*E*R*D and Rihanna's "Lemon" and PartyNextDoor's "Freak In You" due to those artists' heightened statuses. But this past week, he hopped on a recent single by Atlanta-based singer Summer Walker, who definitely wasn't a household name prior to 2019. Drake's new take on Walker's "Girls Need Love" debuts at #1, as most new Drake songs do, this week.

2 Chainz, Lil Wayne, and Offset are all tied with two appearances apiece inside of this week's top ten. New tracks barely missing out on spots include Yelawolf's "Elvis Messy" (#12), Ace Hood's "We Ball" (#13), Rich The Kid's "4 Phones" (#14), and Soulja Boy and Tory Lanez's "HML" remix (#15).

10. G-Eazy Feat. Blueface - West Coast

At this point, G-Eazy has a solid track record of putting the latest popping California artist on a new song, and nobody's got more current buzz from the West Coast than L.A.'s Blueface. Those two guys' new collab, the aptly-titled "West Coast," debuts at #10.

9. 2 Chainz Feat. Lil Wayne & E-40 - Two Dollar Bill

2 Chainz released his highly anticipated, LeBron James EP'd album, Rap or Go to the League, last Friday. It, like the preceding Pretty Girls Like Trap Music, is a chock full of features from top-tier artists. One such high-profile cut is "Two Dollar Bill," which features Lil Wayne and E-40. It debuts at #9.

8. 2 Chainz Feat. Kendrick Lamar - Momma I Hit a Lick

Another prestigious collab from RoGttL is "Momma I Hit a Lick," the third time Kendrick Lamar and 2 Chainz have linked up on-record (the previous two are last year's "X" from the Black Panther soundtrack, and 2013's "Fuckin' Problems"). This one debuts at #8.

7. Soulja Boy - Thotiana Remix (Tyga Diss)

Two of the surest bets to get into the top ten in the past few weeks have been remixes of "Thotiana" (a recent trend) and diss tracks (a very not-recent trend). For his latest offering, the ever-active Soulja Boy decided to double-dip in both departments, and unsurprisingly, a combination "Thotiana" remix/Tyga diss gets him a #7 debut.

6. Offset Feat. CeeLo Green - North Star

Offset's album Father of 4 may have arrived 10 days ago, but he's still got two tracks on the chart this week. The first is the CeeLo Green-assisted "North Star," which wasn't posted on HNHH until a week ago. So in its first week of eligibility, "North Star" debuts at #6.

5. Juice WRLD - Hear Me Calling

Juice WRLD just announced a tour and new album last week, and the single he shared from the latter has wound up in our top ten this week. "Hear Me Calling," taken from this Friday's forthcoming A Deathrace for Love, debuts at #5.

4. T-Pain Feat. Lil Wayne - Goat Talk

Among last week's releases was T-Pain's surprise drop 1UP, which came out of nowhere early Wednesday morning. Included on there is a reunion with his longtime collaborator and partner in T-Wayne, Lil Wayne. Their collab, "Goat Talk," debuts at #4.

3. Offset Feat. Cardi B - Clout

Offset's second chart offering this week is also the only repeat from last week's top ten. "Clout," a Father of 4 cut featuring a spousal assist from Cardi B, is on here for a second week in a row. In its second week out, it falls two spots from #1 to #3.

2. Kodak Black - Pimpin' Ain't Easy

Kodak may have just released an album just over two months ago, but ahead of his upcoming Dying To Live tour, he's shared a new single. The song in question, "Pimpin' Ain't Easy," debuts at #2.

1. Summer Walker Feat. Drake - Girls Need Love (Remix)

Summer Walker's been on a quick upward trajectory this year, recently performing her song "Girls Need Love" on Jimmy Kimmel. But nothing can top getting Drizzy on the remix. The 6 God's new version debuts at #1.
