This week's top ten on our TOP 100 chart reflects two prevalent, gradually-building trends in hip hop: one that started about 18 months ago, and another that's closer to a year old. The first is Cardi B, who appears in one-fifth of this week's top ten and has been a fixture on our chart since long before she won a Grammy for Best Rap Album. The second is L.A. rapper Blueface's breakout single "Thotiana," which was first released last February but has picked up steam in recent months. Although Blueface himself only appears once this week, "Thotiana" is on here thrice due to various remixes.
Cardi is the only artist with multiple appearances this week. New songs barely missing out on spots include Offset and J. Cole's "How Did I Get Here" (#11), Blueface, YG, and Cardi B's "Thotiana" remix (#12), Jay Rock, Mozzy, and DCMBR's "The Other Side" (#14), and August Alsina and Ty Dolla $ign's "Control" (#15).

10. Smif-N-Wessun Feat. Rick Ross - Let Me Tell Ya
NYC duo Smif-N-Wessun hadn't released an album since 2011, that is until last Friday. Just before The All, as it's titled, debuted last week, they shared a single featuring Rick Ross. That song, "Let Me Tell Ya," debuts at #10.
9. Blueface Feat. Cardi B - Thotiana (Remix)
The lowest version of "Thotiana" on our chart this week is also the only one to actually feature Blueface. This official remix featuring Cardi B arrived close to two weeks ago, accompanied by a Cole Bennett-shot video. In its second week out, the official "Thotiana" remix is up three spots from #12 to #9.
8. Yelawolf - Scallywag Freestyle
People are clearly excited for Yelawolf to get back to rapping, because the run-up to his upcoming Trunk Music 3 tape has consisted of nearly every single and freestyle making a dent in our top ten. The latest offering, a freestyle entitled "Scallywag," debuts at #8.
7. Zo (Lonzo Ball) & Lance Stephenson - Swerve
The NBA enjoyed a break for its All-Star festivities last week, and while the league's best players were away on professional duties, two Lakers teammates recorded a track together. "Swerve," the product of Lonzo Ball (AKA Zo) and Lance Stephenson's collaboration, debuts at #7.
6. Bizzy Bone -Carbon Monoxide (Migos Diss)
Bizzy Bone?! In our top ten?! In 2019?! Must be a Migos diss track. Since holiday season 2018, the Bone Thugs-N-Harmony member has seen great success with his various tracks targeting the trio whom he claims stole his flow, despite zero Migos responses to date. His latest offering, "Carbon Monoxide," debuts at #6.
5. Young M.A. - Thotiana (Remix)
The second "Thotiana" on our chart this week, and first of two remixes, is Young M.A.'s take on the fast-rising hit. Accompanied by a video, her version debuts at #5.
4. Desiigner - Thotiana Remix
Directly following his NYC compatriot's "Thotiana" remix is Desiigner's, which arrived in the form of a Soundcloud link last week. This one debuts at #4.
3. Soulja Boy - Trappin Out the Mansion
This is an interesting one. Soulja Boy's "Trappin Out the Mansion" originally dropped almost three weeks ago on February 5th, but hasn't appeared within our top ten until now. Blame either Soulja's near-constant presence on social media, during which he retweets nearly everything with his name attached, or some more nefarious click-farming apparatus. Either way, in its third week out, "Trappin Out the Mansion" is up 113 spots, from #116 to #3.
2. Lil Pump Feat. Lil Wayne - Be Like Me
After months of delays, Lil Pump finally released his sophomore album, Harverd Dropout, last week. Included on there is "Be Like Me," the new single that features Lil Wayne. This one debuts at #2.
1. Offset Feat. Cardi B - Clout
Wanna know how in-demand Offset and Cardi are right now? We didn't even post "Clout" as a single on HNHH until 9 AM on Saturday, and already it's risen to #1. It may only have a 31% user rating, but views speak louder than votes. "Clout" debuts at #1.
