A Men In Black reboot is on the way, and Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson are slated to star as the new faces of the franchise. Directed by F. Gary Gray (Friday, Set It Off, The Italian Job, Straight Outta Compton, The Fate of the Furious), the soft reboot is being labeled as a spin-off. The film has already begun shooting in London, which makes this a busy Summer for both Thompson and Hemsworth. Liam Neeson is also attached to the project, and I can't help but get the feeling that he will play the villain for the movie. If anyone is an alien invader intent on taking over the planet, it must be him.
According to Variety, several actors have been added to the cast of the Men In Black spinoff. Les Twins, the dancing identical twin brothers Laurent Nicolas and Larry Nicolas Bourgeois, will be included in the film. The brothers rose to fame in 2008 and have worked with a long list of industry heavyweights including Beyonce, Missy Elliot, Meghan Trainor, and Ne-Yo. English actor Rafe Spall, known for his work on Life of Pi, The Big Short, and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom will also join the cast. Kumail Nanjiani, who stars in Silicon Valley, has also been added to the growing list of talent for the film.
The Men In Black spinoff is scheduled to arrive in theaters on June 14, 2019.
