Boston Celtics teammates Jaylen Brown and Marcus Morris were involved in a heated altercation during a timeout last night in Miami, as their four-game winning streak came to a screeching halt.

As seen in the video footage embedded below, the two exchanged words near the bench before Morris shoved Brown and Marcus Smart had to step in.

The Celtics went on to lose by the final of 115-99. Brown finished with just two points on 1-of-5 shooting in a season-low 14 minutes of action, while Morris tallied 17 points in the loss.

The Heat led by as many as 26 early in the third quarter but the Celtics went on a 16-0 run before Dwyane Wade took back control of the game.

''I've been on this train with him for a long time,'' Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said, per NBA.com. ''He has a way of making all of us look a lot better. ... Sometimes this league is just about having great players in those important moments, swing moments during the course of a game.''

Boston will continue their road trip on Saturday night in Orlando, followed by a matchup against the Nets in Brooklyn on Monday night. Through 41 games this season, the Cs are sitting in fifth place in the Eastern Conference with a 25-16 record.
