Add Los Angeles Clippers' big man Montrezl Harrell to the list of players who won't take any shit from heckling fans.
During the fourth quarter of Monday night's game against the Timberwolves in Minnesota, Harrell turned to a fan seated near the baseline and issued a stern warning:
"Be a fan, bro. Sit over there and be a fan. Shut the f*ck up, now!"
It's unclear what provoked Harrell's warning, but when a man of his stature (roughly 6'8, 240 pounds) tells you to "sit over there and be a fan," it'd be wise of you to listen.
Harrell, 25, has had run-ins with mouthy fans in the past, including an incident back in December where he went up the stairs into the crowd to confront a heckler.
As for the outcome of last night's game, Harrell and the Clippers suffered a 130-120 defeat which puts them at 31-27 for the season. With the loss, the Clips also dropped to 9th place in the Western Conference, just percentage points behind the eighth seeded Sacramento Kings.
L.A. will host the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday night before heading into the All Star break.
