We're down to just 16 teams remaining in the 2018 World Cup, down from the 32 international squads that qualified for the Group Stage. For the fourth time in the last five World Cups, the defending champs failed to make it out of group play, as Germany finished last in Group F.
Now the tournament shifts to single elimination aka the "Knockout Stage," with the winners of each group matching up against the runner-up from another group. For instance, the winner of Group A, Uruguay, will take on the runner-up from Group B, Portugal, while the Group A runner-up, Russia, challenges the Group B winner, Spain.
Check out the bracket in the tweet below.
Only three teams won all of their games in the Group Stage: Belgium, Croatia and Uruguay. Brazil and France have not lost either, each finishing with 7 points. Thus far, England's Harry Kane leads all goal scorers in the World Cup with five, followed by Belgium's Romelu Lukaku and Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo, both of whom have four goals each.
The Round of 16 will get underway on Saturday, starting with France vs Argentina at 10:00am ET, followed by Uruguay vs Portugal at 2:00pm ET. Check out the full tv schedule below for the upcoming slate of World Cup games, which will air on Fox and Fox Sports 1.
