Big Boi is one proud father. There is nothing more rewarding for a father than watching his son succeed, especially in a field that many others fail at. That means your seed is competing at a level above others. Competing and performing on a high level are two things Big Boi may have passed down to his son.The Outkast member must be basking in the light of his athletic son at the moment, as Cross Patton verbally committed to play running back for the University of Oregon this weekend. As reported by Yahoo! Sports, Patton will be a walk-on. He announced his commital during an event at his high school, Woodward Academy.
Big Boi took to Twitter to enjoy the moment, tweeting, "My Son crosspatton #18 Committed to the Oregon Ducks." Patton received scholarship offers from several schools including Columbia, Butler, and Virginia State. Standing at 5-foot-7, 185 pounds, Patton packs muscle into a small package. His swiftness and ability to catch makes him a versatile and dangerous running back. The Oregon Ducks compete at the NCAA Division I level, and belong to the Pac-12 Conference.
