H.E.R. A.K.A. Gabi Wilson wrapped up her "I Used To Know Her" tour right before the new year and it seems as though she's not slowing down on performances now that 2019 is finally here. The "Focus" singer recently paid a visit to The Late Late Show with James Corden and absolutely slayed her performance of "Carried Away."
Gabi had a fantastic backing band and two amazing backup singers who received an ovation the second they came through on the mic. Alongside the great vocals, and killer performance, Gabi proved that she's a woman about the instruments hopping from the guitar to the bass and the piano tying the whole set together beautifully.
Although Gabi is known for always wearing oversized shades, she's come a long way since she never revealed her full identity until last year.
"Concealing my identity came from me really trying to find ways to be super-honest in my music and to find a way for people to hear the music for what it is and not have any judgment or make any assumptions or think I can't relate to this because she's only this age or she looks like this so I don't know what that feels like," she said when describing her move to hide her identity when she first popped on the scene. "Sometimes we do that."
