Kit Harrington's time on "Game Of Thrones" is coming to an end.

Kit Harrington, known in some circles as Lit Harrington, has ultimately become one of television's most iconic actors. Throughout his seven-year-plus tenure as Game Of Thrones, Harrington brought a welcome sense of life to Jon Snow, growing alongside the character, and imbuing the young hero with complexities and a formidable fighting spirit. In a cast that stands alongside television's best, Harrington remains but one of many pivotal players in the sprawling HBO epic. Now, with the final season nearly within reach (though where is that god-forsaken trailer?), Kit Harrington continues to stoke the fires of hype, to a level not even "Cleganebowl" can obtain.

Speaking with GQ Austalia, Harrington reflects on his long and winding road as Jon Snow, who may very well undergo a name change come next season. "It was like it was designed to make you think, ‘Right, I’m fucking sick of this,’” he explains. “The last season of Thrones seemed to be designed to break us.” Of course, the mentality is appropriately in keeping with Jon's own mentality, vis-a-vis the neverending state of battle and warfare. Art imitates life, does it not?

“Everyone was broken at the end," he continues. "I don’t know if we were crying because we were sad it was ending or if we were crying because it was so fucking tiring. We were sleep deprived.” It stands to reason that the upcoming war likely had something to do with it; one particular battle has already been teased, which allegedly makes "Battle Of The Bastards" pale in comparison. Of course, 55 straight days of night-shoots might have had a little to do with it.

"I’ve had enough now,'" Harington said, musing on the show's conclusion. "'I love this, it’s been the best thing in my life, I’ll miss it one day—but I’m done.’”
