In honor of Jerry Lorenzo's upcoming Nike Air Fear of God 1 release, NBA 2K19 has dropped an all-new "Air Fear Of God" trailer featuring the man himself balling with LeBron James on the Los Angeles Lakers.
Of course, the kicks are prominently featured in the spot, as they will also be available in 2K's "Neighborhood" mode starting today. Check out the "Air Fear of God" trailer in the video embedded below.
The high-top kicks are highlighted by a double-height Zoom Air heel unit and a TPU cage that is inspired by the beloved Huarache Light.
“It is a shoe that should only be judged by the emotion it gives the kid when he first sees it — however it makes him feel,” says the Los Angeles-based designer. “We live in a day and age when images are leaked left and right, and products are leaked without consideration and emotional attachments. I’m aiming to give a visceral experience whether the kid sees it first on Ben Simmons coming into the arena or worn by his favorite athletes on court.”
The Nike Air Fear Of God 1, retailing for $395, will release alongside a collaborative range of apparel this Saturday, December 15 at NikeLab, SNKRS, FearofGod.com, and select retailers. According to Complex, prices in the collection range from a $40 hat to a $650 parka.
