Michael B. Jordan was on his way to set for his upcoming flick Just Mercy when he saw a group of kids in the schoolyard and decided to stop and say hi. The Creed actor posted a video of the surprise, that saw a group of boys losing their minds when they realized they were meeting Killmonger from Black Panther. "How is he here?!," one kid yells.
Michael gave the kids a little speech about staying in school, listening to their parents and working hard before rounding them up for a group photo.
"I was driving from set & saw these young kings standing in their school parking lot doing jumping jacks in 90 degree Montgomery Alabama heat!" he captioned the video. "The sight of them inspires me & reminds me why I do what I do!!"
O'Shea Jackson just signed on to star in the movie, Just Mercy, that follows the Bryan Stevenson memoirs of the same name, who later went on to form the Equal Justice Initiative that fights on behalf of the wrongly condemned and death-row prisoners trapped in the criminal justice system. The movie will focus on Walter McMillian, a black man who was sentenced to death for a crime he didn't commit.
