It looks like Nike has plans to retro several classic LeBron 3 colorways in the very near future, including the "Black/Gold" colorway which will make its return to retailers next week.
The Swoosh confirmed today that LeBron James' third signature sneaker, which unexpectedly released in a limited edition "Christ The King" colorway in September, will be back on shelves in black & gold on December 20th. The kicks, priced at $175, will go live at 10am ET.
Rumors suggest that the "White/Midnight Navy" Nike LeBron 3 will also be releasing on December 20, though Nike has only confirmed that release date for the Black/Gold rendition.
The first-ever Nike LeBron 3 made it's debut in November of 2005, featuring Zoom Air units at the forefoot and heel, as well as a “foot-bucket” insole which prevented the foot from slipping off the foot-bed. Some colorways are currently selling on the resale market in the $400-$500 range, however other player exclusives, like the "Superman" joint, fetch as much as $1,500.
