Winter is coming.

Game Of Thrones may be ending this year, but HBO is not ready to let go of such a lucrative venture. That's why the cable channel is pushing forward with a prequel series, which is rumored to be titled The Long Night. As the name suggests, the prequel will explore the original long winter that brought the White Walkers down upon Westeros. The origin of the Starks, the White Walkers, and the history of several mystical creatures will undoubtedly be touched on. Noami Watts and Josh Whitehouse were cast to star in the series, but now The Hollywood Reporter has revealed eight new actors and actresses that will be joining them.

Naomi Ackie (next appearing in J.J. Abrams' Star Wars), Denise Gough (Guerrilla, Tony-nominated for Angels in America), Jamie Campbell Bower (Sweeney Todd, Twilight, Mortal Instruments), Sheila Atim (Harlots), Ivanno Jeremiah (Black Mirror, Humans), Georgie Henley (The Chronicles of Narnia), Alex Sharp (To the Bone) and Toby Regbo (Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindewald) have all been cast as series regulars. No details about their characters have been revealed, and we probably won't get a look at them until after Game Of Thrones concludes this Spring. Of course, George R.R. Martin is involved to make sure his creation sticks to canon.
